“The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. That's the essence of it.” ― Vince Lombardi Jr.
It is in those moments you would do well to to reflect and realize you have the ability to take those lemons and make a big jug of lemonade with lots of ice and sweet to the taste......the choice of course..is yours.
Sure we all have moments of ,"Why Me?", for a vast amount of reasons each deeply personal to us individually. The adversity we all face throughout our lives in all of its many colorful, diverse and personal ways changes you ....based how you react and respond to it.
You could learn the courage in you you never knew you had but has always been there waiting to be discovered or the compassion or empathy which was waiting to be exposed. You can choose to let it eat you up and leave you angry, empty and isolated or you can choose to let it inspire, encourage and give you satisfaction because you faced it..and took the tough hard road toward the righteous.
The choice is yours.

Everything is a part of God's plan, however he gave us free choice and that alone can and does ultimately define a person......both in their personal views of themselves as well as how they display this outwardly.
Nothing is impossible and with God, all things are possible.
People tend to set self imposed limits because they are scared, and you know what? Everyone gets scared, but if you pay attention, watch, act intentionally, respond positively and learn from your experiences, you have a great ability to lead others through those dark stormy days of which none of us are immune. When it comes down to it, we all really want and need love, support and acceptance not based on conditions.
I don't know when it became okay to hate, hinder, lie, obstruct, hurt and or impede in any way someone else trying to forge their own path in this world and I'll never know.
I missed that meeting....and it seems there are too many that made that meeting, but missed the important ones such as faith, truth, passion, drive and how to derive inspiration from both others and your experiences and using the Lords gifts in you to guide you and show... you have the ability to conceive, build and fulfill your destiny in this world rather than let greed, hate and jealousy win.
The outcome of living your life driven by greed, hate, jealousy, lies and the like only give fuel to the destruction of us as humans, and that purveyor of destruction goes by the name Satan.
Our commonalities should unite, not divide. In this day and age it is shameful that division is the norm and unity is the exception. I decided some years ago, it's not about, "Why Me? It's about what lesson can be learned to positively impact others in the future and make a difference some way some how. You see, you don't need to have all the answers, none of us do. You only need to be able to ask the questions, pray for wisdom, and the fortitude to search.
How do you handle adversity? Have you found your deep driving passion in this world yet? Are you a giver or a taker and are you a part of the problem or a motivational force for positive change?
If you don't know, figure it out...and you must always remember, faith is a powerful thing, and it will get you through the worst times in your life and it can take you to places so high, you never imagined they existed.
When you experience the best of times do you look back and feel truly thankful to the Lord for the blessings in your life and for the lessons you learned in those cold dark lonely days?
Even in the worst of times, there is always always always, something to be thankful for.
Do you look back and reflect where you have been and pledge to never forget? For it is those times which make you who you are, and to pull yourself up with nothing but your faith and hard work to achieve what you know you are capable of in your heart, no matter what anyone says..and empower others to do the same...has the power to change lives, perceptions, and really, the collective unconscious of our culture as a global community of faith.
The world would become a better place and I will never understand why is it so hard to realize hate and greed takes far more energy than just doing the right thing and violence is never the answer.
Do the right thing. People notice.

God always knows your heart so you can't fool him, so why fool and lie to yourself?
Just do it.
You'll be surprised at what you can handle in this world and be the person you know you want to be.
Wouldn't you rather be that individual who always has a smile to share instead of that bitter growling stare?
I love lemonade. Always have, but you got keep practicing to get the balance right..but if you do and never never give up, you'll get it just right.
There is nothing better than an ice cold Lemonade on a scorching hot day and I never get tired of that satisfying fulfillment..and for that I am always thankful.
Are you?
